Boating Skills & Seamanship Class
Every Wednesday From Mar 27 - May 15, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Dana Point Community Center, 34052 Del Obispo St, Dana Point

With the affiliation with The USCG, the Auxiliary is the premier boating Safety education organization in the country.  Our Boating Skills and Seamanship (BS&S) course is a comprehensive course designed for both the experienced and the novice boater.  Topics include safety, knots, radio, aids to navigation, boat handling, rules of the road and many other valuable subjects.  Successful completion will earn you your California Boater Operator card now required to operate a vessel in California waters.  Price includes text book.


GPS for Mariners
2 Nights: Every Wednesday From June 5th & 12th, 7:30pm - 9:30pm

This class will help you get the most from your nautical navigation GPS. You will learn how to use the device to determine position, create waypoints, plot a course, and more. We will also discuss using a chart-plotter to navigate.
